ARCHIVES

Take pictures!

Taking pictures is very important!

It helps us capture memories of special moments that we want to remember. It is also a way to preserve our experiences and to share them with others. Every picture has a story to tell and will last longer in time.

If you ever have the chance to live this amazing experience as an international student, or if you travel, I highly recommend to archive your trip in a journal.

You will love to have a look at that journal in the future, and every picture will remind you of a good memory you had that you maybe forgot about.

That's what I'm doing! Here are some examples of my journal as an international student in Canada.

This page is about my trip to Toronto, before coming to Vancouver.

In this page there is some information about the school, the schedule and the subjects I chose.

Here I explained some events that we have at this school.

On this page I wrote down some places we went during my trip to Seattle with my host family.

Here I wrote about the weather in Vancouver / Langley and some activities we did.

On this page I paint mountains and wrote down every hike we did with my host family.

This page is about Vancouver, I wrote down some cool facts.

This page of my journal is dedicated to my friends, because they are very special to me and without them, this experience would not have been the same.

"The most beautiful things in life are not just things. They are people and places, memories and pictures, they are feelings, and moments, smiles, and laughter"

In order to keep as many memories as possible of my experience, I decided to keep a journal with photos and comments.
